Zombeavers: I Don’t Know What The Fuck I Just Saw

Zombeavers

Yes, that is the title of the movie my roommate picked out to watch this afternoon. Let’s just say he will never choose again.

Written by Al and Jon Kaplan and Jordan Rubin. Directed by Jordan Rubin. Starred Rachel Melvin, Courtney Palm, Lexi Atkins, Hutch Dano, Jake Weary, Peter Gilroy, and Rex Linn.

Where to begin I don’t know what is worse the plot or the acting. Even if this film is supposed to be a comedy this might still be the worst movie I have ever seen. The best part of the movie was the outtake reel at the end. Set in the present day, this “horror/comedy” is riddle with terrible moments and relationship drama.

The movie begins with two dumbasses transporting bio-hazardous waste stick a deer on the road resulting in a tank falling into a near by. The opening credits show the barrel being washed downstream where it inevitably stops at a beaver dam. The group of teens are on a weekend vacation at one of their cousin’s lake house. The zombeavers are first discovered the groups first night at the house, but they still decided to go swimming in the lake the next day. After a horde of zombeavers attack them, they must fight their way back to the cabin and find a way to survive. This struggle is made tougher when the undead varmints cut the phone lines to every house around the lake. Who will be killed by the zombeavers? Who will survive the night?

Even though this is an awful film, like always no spoilers.

As for my review, like I said before Zombeavers might be one of the worst movies I have seen. Lets just say that’s an hour and seventeen minutes I can never have back. The animated beavers looked awful and like I said before it was pretty pathetic even if it was suppose to be a comedy as the genre description says. I would not waste your time with this one. I give it a half of a star out of five. That’s is mainly because I don’t want to ever give a film zero stars.

I’m not wasting anymore time reviewing this movie.

  1. I definitely did a double take when I saw the image of this on my Netflix app, but really I’m not into horror flicks even when done as a comedy. So likely I won’t watch it although I’m sure it is rife with horrible horror comedic action. Clever name though.
